Inking in Flash

See that's what I'm talking about--you shaded him in just like in the sketch.... :)

It's funny you say he'd be a good foil b/c he seems to be a little from the Mickey school of heroes, and there was a villain in the old MM strips with some minor resemblances to Count Epaulette. (A gorilla who captained a sub I think.)

On this Flash inking though.. boy to hear you guys talking about the workarounds, it doesn't exactly sell itself, does it.. Maybe you can tell us how the various programs you try stack up against one another.

I'd say inking digitally can be a hassle, but so can inking on paper. Either way could be better, depending on the person, the project, and the style. I want to learn this stuff, up to a point at least, so I can be a well-rounded cartoonist.

When I get to a level where I can compare the different applications, I'll try to let y'all know my final verdicts here on the blog.
